At Hardy Mill Primary we strive to ensure that all children remain safe and free from harm, and we are committed to playing a full and active part in the multi-Agency response to Child Protection concerns. We recognise that we are an important part of the wider safeguarding system for our children.
We understand that promoting equality and diversity and tackling discrimination is essential in safeguarding our children. We hold separate policies and procedures in place to address issues such as Accessibility Plan, Equalities policy, PSHRE policy and curriculum, Anti-bullying policy and Staff code of conduct that covers harassment and discrimination. We are committed to the Protected Characteristics under the Equality Act 2010:
- We will not unlawfully discriminate against our children with protected characteristics.
- We will consider how to support our children with protected characteristics.
- We will take positive action, where proportionate, to deal with the disadvantages these children face.
If you have a concern about a child at our school, please contact the member of staff responsibile
